Tamar Segal-Peretz

Associate Professor at the Wolfson Department of Chemical Engineering, Technion- Israel Institute of Technology.

Prof. Segal-Peretz has a BSc in Biochemical Engineering (2006) and a PhD in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (2013), both from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow, at the Institute for Molecular Engineering, University of Chicago, and a Director’s Fellow, at Argonne National Laboratory (2013-2016).
Prof. Segal-Peretz heads the Functional Nanostructures Advanced Imaging Lab at the Technion since 2016 and supervises the Technion Center for Electron Microscopy of Soft Materials. She is affiliated with The Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute (RBNI) and the Grand Technion Energy Program (GTEP), and the recipient of several awards, among them the Azrieli Faculty Fellowship, the Hershel Rich Technion Innovation Award, the Israel Vacuum Society (IVS) Early Career Award, and the Kline Research Award.
